Norman "Bosco" R. Belanger Sr.

NASHUA- Norman Roger “Bosco” Belanger Sr., 80, died peacefully on Friday, June 28, 2019 at his home. He is the beloved husband of Marion Lorraine (Lessard) Belanger with who he shared 59 years of marriage.

Norman was born in Nashua, NH on March 18, 1939 and was the son of the late Raymond R. Belanger and Florence (Higgens) Belanger.

For many years, he was employed as a sanitation engineer for Nashua Corp until his retirement. He was also the previous owner of Bosco’s Card Shop for 5 years

In his free time, Norman enjoyed playing Cribbage and was an avid New England sports fan especially favoring the New England Patriots, Boston Bruins, Boston Celtics and the Boston Red Sox. Norman was a lifetime member of the Lafayette Club and Polish Club and proudly served as the former director of the Lafayette Club. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his loving family who will miss him deeply.

In addition to his wife Marion, he is survived by his three children, Norman R. Belanger Jr. and his wife Kirsis Abreu of Cape Coral, Florida, Brendalee Holbrook of Nashua, and Rhonda Lilley and her husband Frederick Jr of Searsmont, ME. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Allysa Ames, Frederick Lilley III, Crystal Boynton, Michael J. Belanger, and Robert Holbrook; great-grandchildren, Austin Ames and Brayden Roberts. Norman is survived by his sister Annette Murray; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Norman was predeceased by his son Bruce Belanger, son-in-law, Roland Holbrook, and his brothers Maurice Belanger and Robert Belanger.

Relatives and friends are invited to Norman’s visitation on Tuesday July 2, 2019 from 4 until 8 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 in the Funeral Home at 10:00 AM.  Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Hudson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Home, Health and Hospice, 7 Executive Park Dr., Merrimack, NH 03054.
