HUDSON—Olivette I. Farland, age 92, passed away surrounded by her family on October 20, 2018 after a long, courageous battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Born on November 14, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Exilia (Gendron) Fleury. She was educated in the Nashua School System and was a long-time parishioner of St. John XXIII Church in Hudson.
Olivette had many different hobbies that she was passionate about. She was well known for her beautiful garden that she loved tending to. She also worked at Garrison Farm’s during the Christmas season selling trees. She loved to paint, decorate cakes and collect and refurbish dolls, but above all else, her family and her gardens came first.
Olivette is survived by her son Daniel Farland and his wife Patricia of Hudson; her two grandchildren, Dianne Vermette and her husband Albert of Hudson, and Donald Farland and his wife Christy of PA; her four geat-grandchildren, Albert J. Vermette III, Patrick Vermette, Madelyn Farland and Alison Farland; her nephew Paul Bourbeau and his wife Laura of ME, as well as many other cousins and dear friends.
She was the sister of the late Laurianne Bourbeau.
FARLAND— In Hudson, October 20, 2018, Olivette I. Farland, age 92. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. at ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST CHURCH, 25 Library St., Hudson. Burial will follow in St. Louis Cemetery, 752 W. Hollis St., Nashua. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Olivette’s memory may be made to the Human Society for Greater Nashua, 24 Ferry Rd., Nashua, NH 03064.
