Patrick J. Lessard

HUDSON- Patrick Joseph Lessard, 91, died peacefully on Monday morning, February 4, 2019 at The Inn at Fairview in Hudson surrounded by his loving family. Patrick was the beloved husband of the late Evelyn G. (Jean) Lessard who predeceased him on November 29, 2016.

Patrick was born in E. Broughton, Canada on March 17, 1927 and was the son of the late Stanislaus and Marguerite (Drouin) Lessard.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII until he was honorably discharged in December of 1946.

For over 35 years Patrick was employed  as a master electrician for JF Mcelwain and following there he was also employed by BAE for 10 years until his retirement.

In his younger years, Patrick loved music and playing his guitar. He also enjoyed listening to French radio stations. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his family and they will miss his dearly.

Patrick is survived by his four children, Patrick Lessard and his wife Susan of Concord, Carmen Rioux and her husband Richard of Mont Vernon, Ann Ritter and her husband Phil of Nashua, and Jeffrey Lessard and his wife Phuong of Manchester; his sister, Marguerite Raymond of Nashua; as well as his 11 grandchildren, Patrick Lessard Jr., Lori Quinno, Joseph Lessard, Steven Lessard, Andrew Lessard, Christine MacDonald, Daniel Rioux, Christopher Ritter, Meredith Ritter, Jacqueline Lessard, and Jeffrey Lessard. He is also survived by many great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, Evelyn, he was predeceased by his six siblings, Camille, Greg, Edward, Leonette, Irene and Susan.

Patrick’s family would like to extend a special thank you for the care and compassion during his residence at Fairview Inn.

Relatives and friends are invited to Patrick's visitation on MONDAY, February 11th from 4 until 7 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His Funeral Mass will be held on TUESDAY, February 12th at 10 AM in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 W Hollis Street, Nashua. Interment to follow in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.
