Paul Moreau Obituary

NASHUA- Paul “Beanbag”  Moreau, 84, died peacefully Sunday morning, November 4, 2019, at St. Joseph Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Paul was born in Nashua on April 16, 1936 and was the beloved son of the late Henry and Eugenia (Thibodeau) Moreau.

He attended Infant Jesus School and furthered his education and graduated from Nashua High School with the class of 1953. After graduation he joined the United States Navy, proudly serving his country on the USS Cambria; until he was honorably discharged.

Paul was employed for many years at the Quincy Shipyard until his retirement in 1986.

Paul always looked forward to organizing the Annual Moreau Family party every summer, he truly loved being able to bring together his entire family.

He is survived by his brother Henry Moreau and his wife Marion; his sister-in-law, Pat Moreau of Washington; as well as his cousin and close friend Rachel Theriault; and many nieces and nephews.

Paul was predeceased by his sisters, Lorrette Richard, Lucienne Lampert, and Alice Moreau and his brothers Rene, Marcel, Oscar, Eugene, and Richard Moreau.

Relatives and friends are invited to Paul’s visitation on THURSDAY, November 7th from 4 until 8 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His Funeral Mass will be held on FRIDAY, November 8th at 10 AM in St. John XXII Parish/Infant Jesus Church, 121 Allds Street, Nashua. Interment to follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Nashua.
