Paul A. Serra

Paul A. Serra, age 59, of Nashua passed away on December 13, 2018 at Community Hospice House in Merrimack, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with Cancer.

Born in Springfield, MA on May 25, 1959, he was the son of Lorraine (Artioli) Serra and the late Adolfo Serra.  He was the beloved husband of Kathy Serra, with whom he spent 27 years of marriage.

Paul graduated with the class of 1977 from The Technical High School in Springfield and then attended American International College where he earned his Business degree in 1981.  He completed his MBA at Boston University in 1988.  Paul spent his entire career working at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and its legacy companies; Digital Equipment Corporation and Compaq Computer Corporation. Paul’s innovation and hard work resulted in 3 patents.

Paul especially loved watching and coaching his sons’ sports in his free time.  He also loved being outside and spending time at Hampton Beach during the summer.  Above all else though, Paul loved his beautiful family, and cherished the time spent and memories made with his wife, children and his dog, Fenway.

Besides his loving wife and mother, Paul is survived by his three sons, Nicholas, Drew and Max Serra; his sister Lynn Douglas and her husband Bill; his niece Marissa Douglas and his nephew Colin Douglas.

Friends and family are invited to call at the ANCTIL-ROCHETTE and SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley St., Nashua on Tuesday, December 18, from 4 until 7 p.m.  Visitation will also be offered from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 20, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 123 William St., Springfield, MA, with a Funeral Service at 11 a.m.  Burial will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery, 1601 State St., Springfield, MA.  As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Paul’s honor to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284.
