Pauline M. Lucier

July 2, 1945 ~ December 24, 2019 (age 74)


NASHUA- Pauline M. Lucier, 74, died peacefully on Tuesday, December 24, 2019, at Community Hospice House in Merrimack surrounded by her loving family.

 Pauline was born in Nashua on July 2, 1945 and was the daughter of the late Roger and Irene (Collins) Marquis.

 For over 37 years, she was employed as the head of motor vehicles for the City of Nashua until her retirement. After retiring from the city, she worked at Walmart in the Jewelry Department part time for over 10 years.

 In her free time she loved to go camping. She would travel to Alfred, Maine to Bunganut Campground every year for over the past 30 years. While there, she always loved to go and find adventures with her friends there. She always enjoyed time with her family, especially for cookouts, family dinners, and holiday dinners. She will be deeply missed.

 Pauline is survived by her two children, Diane Duras and her husband David of Nashua and Carol Newell of Manchester; her four grandchildren, Kayla Lucier, Cameron Lucier, Stephanie Duras, and Brandon Duras. She is also survived by her two siblings, Robert Marquis of Nashua and Richard Marquis and his wife Michelle of Merrimack; her honorary granddaughter, Stefanie Alicea and her children Daniel and Iyana; her nieces Allison and Tessa Marquis of Nashua and her great niece, Kaiyah, and great-nephews Remee, Kaden, and Avin as well as many other special nieces and nephews.

 Relatives and friends are invited to Pauline’s visitation on MONDAY, January 6th from 5 PM until 8 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her Funeral Mass will take place on TUESDAY, January 7th at 10 AM in St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 777 West Hollis Street, Nashua. KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH. Burial will take place at the convenience of her family. Donations may be made in Pauline’s name to the Community Hospice House, 7 Executive Park Drive, Merrimack, NH 03054.
