Philip Belanger Obituary

 

 NASHUA- Philip W. Belanger, 59, died unexpectedly on Monday, October 8, 2018 at his home.

 Philip was born in Nashua on September 29, 1959 and is the beloved son of Alice (Vaillancourt) and Wilfred Belanger of Nashua. 

 He proudly served his country in the United States Marines for 14 years (serving two tours in Japan) until he was honorably discharged in 1991.

 Philip was previously employed by Jones Chemical in Merrimack and Bronze Craft in Nashua.

 In his free time, he was an avid baseball fan and loved to support the Nashua Silver Knights, holding season tickets for many years.  He also enjoyed football and camping.  Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his family.

 In addition to his parents, Wilfred and Alice, Philip is survived by his son Matthew Belanger of Jacksonville, NC and his stepson John Sharkey Jr. and his wife Rejina currently stationed in Guam; his four sisters, Anne Barker and her husband Timothy of Manchester, Pauline Belanger and her significant other Rick Kienholz of Lincoln City OR, Susan Belanger of Nashua, and Danielle Belanger of Nashua. He is also survived by his four brothers, David Belanger and his wife Paula of Nashua, Paul Belanger and his significant other Janet Fauteux of Nashua, Michael Belanger and his significant other Rita Agrella of Nashua, and Russell Belanger and his wife Melissa of Shallotte NC; his two grandchildren John and Evelyn as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

 Relatives and friends are invited to Philip’s visitation on MONDAY, October 15th from 4 until 8 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His Funeral Mass will be held on TUESDAY, October 16th at 10 AM in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 W Hollis Street, Nashua. Interment to follow in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.   In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to the Wounded Warrior Project, website https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org.
