OBITUARY - RAYMOND L. LEVESQUE

MILFORD- Raymond L. Levesque, 92, formerly of Nashua and Litchfield, passed peacefully on Thursday morning, April 12, 2018 at Ledgewood Bay Senior Living in Milford, NH.  He was the beloved husband of the late Gabrielle A. (Morin) Levesque, with whom he shared 67 years of marriage.

Raymond was born in Quebec City, Canada on July 17, 1925 and was the son of the late Lorenzo and Mary Anne (Brassard) Levesque.

He proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War until he was honorably discharged.

Raymond worked for Nashua Corporation and Panametrics, Inc. in Waltham, MA for many before retiring in 1987.  Among his many interests, he loved playing cards at both senior centers in Nashua and Litchfield, reading, computer games and gardening.  He was a member of the American Legion Post Number 483.

He was predeceased by a son-in-law; Paul Alcorn

He is survived by his three daughters, Claire Bois and her husband Michael of Hollis, Gail Purcell and her husband Leo of Nashua, and Lorraine Alcorn of Nashua; his grandchildren, Audra Turcotte, Tyler Gill and his wife Nicole, as well as a great-granddaughter, Fallon, a sister-in-law; Doris Cote of Nashua.  Also several nieces, nephews, cousins as well as many friends at Woodland Place in Litchfield over the many years

His family would like to extend heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the care he received from the nurses and staff at Ledgewood Bay.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on WEDNESDAY, April 18th at 10:00 AM in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 W. Hollis Street, Nashua. KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH. His interment will take place on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 PM in the New Hampshire Veteran’s Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Raymond’s name to the Nashua Senior Activity Center, 70 Temple St., Nashua, NH 03060.
