OBITUARY—RAYMOND E. ROBICHAUD
NASHUA- Raymond E. Robichaud, 88, died peacefully Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at his home. He was the beloved husband of the late Phyllis M. (Slosek-Burelle) Robichaud who predeceased him on September 1, 2018.
Raymond was born in Nashua on August 28, 1930 and was the son of the late Raymond E. Robichaud and Rolande (Langlois) Robichaud.
He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force until his was honorably discharged in April of 1950.
For many years, he was employed as a manager for Energy North until his retirement.
In his free time, Ray loved his motorcycle. He and his late wife, Phyllis traveled the United States together on this Motor-Trike making sure to visit every state. He also enjoyed the game of golf, always making time to be on the course as well as watching the pros. Ray had a tool for absolutely any job and was known as the best handy man. He could fix absolutely anything. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his family who he loved dearly.
Ray is survived by his two grandchildren, Eric Robichaud of Nashua and Dawn McAvinew and her husband Eric of Goffstown; his great-granddaughter, Marissa Jackson and her husband Cristen of Manchester and his two great-great grandchildren, Greyson Brown and Abigail Jackson. He is also survived by his stepchildren and step grandchildren.
Ray was predeceased by his son Raymond Robichaud and his brother Roland Gamache.
Relatives and friends are invited to Ray’s graveside service on TUESDAY, May 21st at 10 AM in St. Patrick Cemetery, 102 Derry Road, Hudson, NH. Interment and military honors will also be presented.
