Rebecca D. Bulsa

Ashby, MA - Rebecca D. Bulsa, 23, lost her battle with drug addiction, Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Heath Alliance Hospital in Leominster.

She was born in Nashua, NH on May 19, 1994, and is the beloved daughter of Kathryn (Forcier) Gaffey and her husband John of Standish, ME and Steven Bulsa and his wife Donna of Nashua.

Rebecca was uniquely independent from an early age, choosing to live life on her own terms.  She was staunch in her beliefs and was fiercely loyal to her friends and family, even when they disagreed.  Rebecca would hide her vulnerabilities and personal pain in order to stay strong for those she cared about.  Had she been able to break the cycle of addiction, her career goal was to pursue massage therapy, which is a testament to her desire to comfort people.  Her most heartfelt desire was to someday become a mother, and raise a child of her own.

In addition to her parents and step-parents, Rebecca is survived by her brothers Michael and Matthew Bulsa of Nashua; her paternal grandfather, Andrew Bulsa of Nashua; her great aunt, Frances Bulsa of Adams, MA; her paternal uncle Daniel Bulsa and his wife Claudette of Nashua; and her paternal aunt Christine Bulsa-O'Meara and her husband Richard, of Cape Elizabeth, ME.  She is also survived by her maternal uncles Steven Forcier and his wife Marcia of Nashua and Kenneth Forcier and his wife Charlene of Gilmanton, NH; as well as several cousins.

Rebecca was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Gerard and Marian Forcier; her maternal aunt Susan Forcier-Levesque; as well as her paternal grandmother Maryann Bulsa.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on SATURDAY, October 14th from 2 until 4 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua.  Interment will take place at the convenience of her family.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rebecca's name to NASHUA CHILDREN'S HOME, 125 Amherst Street, Nashua, NH 03064.
