Rebecca LaPointe

LaPointe- Rebecca LaPointe, age 67, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2018. 

Rebecca was born on April 13, 1951 in Berlin, NH to the late Wendel and Alice Young. 

She attended St. Joseph’s for nursing and was an LNA for much of her life. Her innate ability to hand out compliments freely and joke with those around her truly brightened the days of anyone she knew.  She enjoyed cooking, gardening, being outdoors, admiring nature, and bird watching. Above all else though, Rebecca loved her family. 

Rebecca is survived by her two sons, Jay LaPointe of Nashua and Peter LaPointe of Nashua; Her daughter Renee Giardina and her husband Joe of Arizona; her grandchildren Jaylin LaPointe, Owen LaPointe, Connor Giardina, and Lexi Giardina; her sister Patsy Barry and her husband Joe of Hudson, MA; her brother Dell Young and his wife Claudette of Washington State. 

She is predeceased by her sister Jeannie McShane and her brother-in-law Jim McShane. 

At the request of the family services will be held privately. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made in Rebecca’s honor to the Special Olympics, 1133 19th Street NW, 12th Floor, Washington, DC 20036‐3604.
