Richard Laplante

NASHUA- A. Richard Laplante, 67, died peacefully, Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester; he was surrounded by his loving family. Richard is the beloved husband of Elaine (Adamson) Laplante.

Richard was born in Providence, Rhode Island on August 23, 1950 and was the son of Evelyn (Horlbogen) Laplante of Connecticut and the late Henry J. Laplante.

For many years, he was a software engineer, working as a self-employed contractor.

In his free time he was a member of the Pinnacle Mountain Fish & Game Club and loved to fish. He also enjoyed playing jazz guitar but above all, his most cherished time was spent with his loving family.

In addition to his wife, Richard is survived by his brother Henry Laplante and his wife Pamela of Connecticut; his niece Rebecca Laplante of Warwick, RI and his nephew Danny Robinson of Warwick, RI; his brother-in-law, Craig Adamson of W. Greenwich, RI.

Richard was predeceased by his brother Ronnie Laplante.
