OBITUARY – RITA (MARQUIS-PARADISE) GENDRON

NASHUA- Rita (Marquis-Paradise) Gendron, 91, of Nashua, died peacefully Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at the Greenbriar Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Albert Gendron who predeceased her in 2005.

Rita was born in Nashua on June 8, 1927 and was the beloved daughter of the late Albert and Yvonne (Lemay) Marquis.

Rita enjoyed crocheting, reading, making floral arrangements and going out to eat, especially for lobster.   Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

Rita is survived by two sons, Alan Paradise and his wife Lisa of Nashua; Peter Paradise and his wife Christine of Nashua; a daughter, Linda Paradise of Nashua; a step-daughter, Joanne Rowell of Nashua; a daughter-in-law, Dorothy Paradise of Milford; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren; one sister, Annette Emond of Nashua; a sister-in-law, Marcia Marquis of Florida as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband Albert, Rita was predeceased by her first husband, John Paradise who died in 1983, a son; Denis Paradise, a brother-in-law; Armand Marquis and a step-son-in-law; Milton Rowell.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on MONDAY, September 3rd from 6 until 8 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her Funeral Mass will be held on TUESDAY, September 4th at 10 AM in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 W Hollis Street, Nashua. Interment to follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Nashua. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Home Health and Hospice, 7 Executive Park Dr., Merrimack, NH 03054.
