OBITUARY – Roger Lionel Gaudette
NASHUA- Roger Lionel Gaudette, 91, died peacefully at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center on Thursday, January 3, 2018. He was the beloved husband of the late Louise E. (Berube) Gaudette.
Roger was born in Nashua on November 24, 1927 and was the son of the late Delphis and Elizabeth (Pelletier) Gaudette. He proudly served his country during WWII in the United State Army until he was honorably discharged in 1946.
For many years, he was employed as a machinist for Beeb Rubber for 40 years until his retirement.
Roger was an active parishioner with St. Joseph the Worker Church. He also loved to participate in the choir in St. Joseph Church and St. Francis Church.
Roger is survived by his sons, David Gaudette of New York, New York, Marc Gaudette of Nashua, and Leo Gaudette and his wife Cherie of Nashua; his daughter Emilie Picard and her husband James of Nashua; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Irene Gaudette of Hollis as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his loving wife, Roger was predeceased by his brother Normand Gaudette, and his sisters, Beatrice Lebrun, Rachel Boilard and her husband Roger and Dorothy Landry.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on FRIDAY, January 11th at 10 AM in St. Joseph the Worker Church, 777 W Hollis Street, Nashua, NH. Donations may be made in Roger’s name to Corpus Christi Food Pantry, 3 Crown Street, Nashua, NH, 03060.
