OBITUARY—RON BERTRAND    

NASHUA- Ron Bertrand, 82, a lifelong resident of Nashua, died peacefully at his home on Saturday evening, June 9, 2018. Ron was the beloved husband of the late Claire (Theriault) Bertrand who predeceased him on June 5, 2017.

Ron was born in Nashua on March 2, 1936.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed as an electrician for General Electric as well as BAE Systems.

In his free time, Ron was a member of the Elks, #720, Club National, as well as the Layfette Club in Nashua. He enjoyed target shooting and traveling to various destinations with his wife.  Ron also loved gardening, fishing and camping. Later in life, he enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

Ron is survived by his four daughters, Donna Bugeau and her husband John of Nashua, Diane Chase and her husband William of Arvada, Colorado, Pamela Cummings and her husband Frank of Worcester, MA, and Sandie Gaudette and her husband Paul of Hudson; his six grandchildren, Melissa, Corinne, Robert, Alysha, Andrew, and Ryan and his three great-grandchildren, DeShaun, Madeline, and Charlotte Mae; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to Ron’s Funeral Mass on TUESDAY, June 19th at 10 AM in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 W. Hollis Street, Nashua. Interment will follow in Edgewood Cemetery, Nashua.
