NASHUA- Shirley A. (Pacheco) Thompson, 59, died Sunday, September 8, 2019, at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Shirley was born in Westerly, Rhode Island on July 30, 1960 and was the daughter of the late Gilbert James and Gloria Therese (Grantz) Pacheco.
For many years, she was employed as a bartender as various establishments such as the Polish American Club and the Social Club in Nashua. More recently, she worked as an assembler for Control Air Inc.
Shirley truly enjoyed life and lived everyday to the fullest. She never went a day without letting her family know that she loved them and cared for them. She was the most caring, giving, and social person and treated even new friends like family. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her family and she will be deeply missed.
Shirley is survived by her four children, Timothy Thompson, James Thompson, Shannon Thompson and Dylan Thompson all of Nashua; her grandson, Caleb Thompson, her fiancé Carl F. Palmitesso of Nashua; her sisters, Rosemary Tate and her husband David of Hudson, Nancy Snyder and her husband Leon of Hudson, Kathy Herrick and her husband Lyndell of Maine, and Wendy Stuart and her husband Paul of Washington; as well as her best friends Sherry Keyza Martinson of Meredith and Mary Straitiff of Nashua and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her brother Gilbert Pacheco, and her sisters, Becky Torres and Sally Pacheco.
