OBITUARY – SHIRLEY ANN (MAURICE) BIRON
NASHUA- Shirley Ann (Maurice) Biron, 83, beloved wife, mother, sister and grandma, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018 following a stroke on April 16th.
Shirley was born in Methuen, Massachusetts on April 16, 1935 and was the beloved daughter of the late Theodore and Dolores (Monfet) Maurice. She was the beloved wife of Rudolph (Rudy) Biron to whom she married October 10, 1970.
Shirley was raised in Nashua and was a 1953 graduate of St. Louis High School. She had attended the Nashua Business College. She had been employed for a number of years at Sanders Associates. Shirley was an active member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish in Nashua for almost 50 years, volunteering as a religious education teacher, lector at Mass and a Eucharistic Minister. She was also a member of the Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary.
Shirley was a loving wife and mother who also enjoyed cooking, knitting, playing the piano and growing plants and flowers.
Besides her husband of 47 years, Shirley is survived by her two daughters, Maureen Sarver of Corpus Christi, TX and (Heidi) Cheryl Biron-Sirmons and her husband James of Leonardtown, MD; her two grandchildren, Lydia Sarver and Katelyn Sirmons; her two sisters, Claire Deslauriers and Aline Tyler and her husband Ralph; her brother, Robert Maurice and his wife Reine; her brother-in-law, Wayne Biron and his wife Aster; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins
Her love and compassion will be remembered and greatly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on TUESDAY, May 1st from 4 to 7 PM in the ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on WEDNESDAY, May 2nd at 10 AM in St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 777 W Hollis Street, Nashua. Burial will follow in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.
