It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stephen Raymond Vertigans Jr. Stephen, 37, died unexpectedly at home Tuesday, June 26, 2018. Born November 9,1980 to the late Stephen Raymond Vertigans Sr. and Marion Evelyn (Brown) (Vertigans) Howes of Tilton, NH and her husband Ralph. Stephen previously worked as an EMT for the town of Amherst, NH and felt fulfilled in his occupation of helping others. He is survived by his adored children; Makaela Vertigans of Pepperrell, MA; Stephen Vertigans III, Jacob Vertigans, and Athena Vertigans of Nashua NH. Stephen is lovingly remembered as the comedic brother to; David and Charlotte Vertigans of Tampa, FL; Kathleen and Mark Brown of Pembroke, MA; Kerry Riedy of Merrimack, NH; Stephanie and Michael Trow of Hudson, NH; Amanda and Adam Tardiff of Hudson, NH, Andrea Vertigans of Merrimack NH; Jonathan and Jasmine Vertigans of Tilton, NH; Andrew Vertigans and fiancé Brianna Tiberio of Hudson, NH; Matthew Vertigans and fiancé Jennifer Smart of Lowell, MA; Sharon Vertigans of Nashua, NH; and the late Angela (Vertigans) Howard. He was a devoted uncle to many nieces and nephews. Stephen will be remembered as a loyal friend who showed his humor and personality through his comedic impressions and funny jokes. He will be always remembered as the voice that forever lifts our spirits. We find peace in knowing that he lives on in the hearts of those he touched....for nothing loved is ever lost and he was loved so much. Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 29, 2018 in Edgewood Cemetery, 107 Amherst St., Nashua at 2:00 PM.
