NASHUA- Yvonne A. Kent, 86, died peacefully on Friday morning, August 9, 2019, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late John Kent with whom she shared 60 years of marriage.
Yvonne was born in Reading, England on April 15, 1933, and was the daughter of the late Ernest and Henrietta (Hoggan) Smith.
She worked as a realtor for many years for Campbell Realty in St. Albans, VT
In her free time, she enjoyed knitting, reading, painting and her time on the computer. In her younger years she would love to be outside in her yard tending to her floral gardens. Yvonne loved animals but had a special love for cats, especially her and John’s beloved Miss Priss & Kate. She loved to cook and bake and was exceptional at it. While her husband, John, was proudly serving his country in the United States Air Force they were both able to travel together. They settled in Arizona and happily lived there for over 30 years. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her family.
Yvonne is survived by her two daughters, Debra J. Hague of St. Albans, VT and Kendra E. Surdam and her husband Tim of Nashua; her four grandchildren, Jason Cox of PA, Gregory Cox of CA, Randi Cox of VT, and Ryan Surdam of NH; and her great-grandchildren.
