OBITUARY – YVONNE LEVESQUE
GOFFSTOWN- Yvonne (Belanger) Levesque, 97, a lifelong resident of Nashua, died peacefully Thursday evening, May 24, 2018 at Hillsboro County Nursing Home in Goffstown. She was surrounded by her loving family. Yvonne was the beloved wife of the late Leopold E. Levesque who predeceased her on October 9, 2014.
Yvonne was born in Hudson, NH on December 24, 1920 and was the beloved daughter of the late Adelard and Roseanna (Boucher) Belanger.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a shoe stitcher for International Shoes, Sportwelt Shoes, as well as J.F. McElwain.
In her free time Yvonne loved to sit on her porch and read, visiting and shopping in second hand stores, and going to yard sales. She also enjoyed playing Bingo, bowling, and playing cards, especially Poker and Cribbage. In her early years, she would visit the Lonestar Ranch in Merrimack, NH for their country western music. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Yvonne is survived by her two daughters, Louise Collard and her husband Maurice of Nashua and Ann Dinsmore of Nashua; her six grandchildren, Michelle Helm and her husband, Christopher Collard, Nicholas Collard and his wife Catherine, Philippe Collard and his fiancé Elizabeth Caswell, Katherine “Katie” Dinsmore, and Jessica Bourassa and her husband Corey; as well as her three great-grandchildren, Mylo, Katelynn, and Stephen and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Paul Belanger, Gerard Belanger, Conrad Belanger, Raymond Belanger, Adrian Belanger, Noel Belanger, and Ida Soucy.
Relatives and friends are invited to Yvonne’s visitation on WEDNESDAY, May 30th from 6 until 8 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her Funeral will be held on THURSDAY, May 31st at 10 AM in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 W. Hollis Street, Nashua. Interment to follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Nashua.
