Albina Filippov, 69, died peacefully at her home on Saturday, March 5, 2022. She was the beloved wife of Michael Filippov with whom she shared 44 years of marriage.
Albina was born in Cheremkhovo, Russia on July 2, 1952, and was the daughter of the late Vladimir and Firdaus (Shaiguzov) Ogorodnikov. She graduated from Irkutsk University in Russia with her master's degree in Physics.
She was employed as a teacher at Nashua North High School until her retirement. Following her retirement, she was a teacher at Russian School of Mathematics in Nashua.
In her free time, she enjoyed floral and vegetable gardening, cooking especially for gatherings for friends and family, and writing. She also liked to travel to various destinations around the world with her husband. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her loving family. She treasured her children and granddaughters.
In addition to her husband, Michael, she is survived by her son, Leonid "Lee" Filippov of New York and daughter, Michelle Delmonico and her husband Anthony of Franklin, MA; her granddaughters Natasha, Ella, and Annabelle. She is also survived by her sister Inna Sharypov of Russia and her two nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Albina's visitation on TUESDAY, March 8th from 3 until 5 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her interment will be held privately in Woodlawn Cemetery, Nashua.
