Avelina B. Simpson, 76 of Nashua, passed away on May 31, 2023 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center. She was born August 29, 1946 in the Philippines to Basillo Bustamante and Segundina (Maravilla) Bustamante.

Avelina was the beloved wife of Robert Simpson, with whom she shared 53 years of marriage. For many years she owned and operated her own cleaning company, Avelina's Cleaning Service.

In her free time, Avelina loved to be outside tending to her garden. When she was not in her garden you could find her in the kitchen as she was a great cook, always making sure there was something to eat. Avelina was a learner, always looking for something new to add to her knowledge. She also loved to clean, but above else she cherished her time with her friends and family the most.

In addition to her husband Robert, Avelina is survived by her son Robert Jr. and his fiancée Mariam Kinder of North Dakota, her daughter Rachel Cossette and her husband Tim of Londonderry, NH, three grandchildren Emily Simpson, Stephen Cossette, David Cossette, her sisters Angelita, Adele, Yolanda, Cora, Fe, Amy, Thelma, and Nieves.

Avelina was predeceased by her brothers Nestor, Dante, and Jimmy.

Family and friends are invited to Avelina's visitation on TUESDAY, June 6th from 4 until 6 pm at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. A small service will be held in the funeral home following the visitation at 6pm.
