Beatrice (Houle) Farland, 96, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday March 27th, 2024, at The Elms in Milford, NH. She was born on August 16th, 1927, in Nashua to the late Louis and Marie (Cote) Houle.

For many years she was employed as a seamstress in the Mills, and started her own business as a housekeeper.  She was the beloved wife of Wilfred G. Farland for a loving 54 years, prior to his passing in March 2004.

In her free time Beatrice enjoyed walking her dogs, knitting, tatting, tending her flower beds, drinking wine with Ali, and playing card games with family and friends.

Beatrice is survived by her three sons & daughters-in-law, Gerard and Susan Farland of Vermont.   Dr. Raymond and Alice Farland of Nashua, and Donald Farland and Kathy Ives of New Hampshire, two daughters and a son-in-law, Claire Plamondon of Maine, and Janet and Richard Plamondon of Goffstown, two siblings Theresa Dube and William Dube and Jack and Marie Houle and 9 grandchildren,11 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters-in law Irene and Oneil Page, Jeannette & Ernest Dupont, Norman Houle, Maurice & Jeanine Houle, and Andrew Houle.

Family and friends are invited to Beatrice's visitation on MONDAY, April 1st from 12 until 2 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES and on TUESDAY April 2nd, from 9 until 9:30 AM prior to her funeral mass which will take place on TUESDAY, April 2nd at 10 AM at St. Louis Church, 50 W. Hollis Street, Nashua. Interment will follow in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared by charitable contributions of your choice.
