Cherry Marie (Reilly) Gagne, 61 of Nashua New Hampshire, died on Monday, July 4, 2022. She is the beloved wife of Cheryl Gagne with whom she shared 14 years of marriage. Cherry was born in Boston, Massachusetts and she is the daughter of Florence (Feeney) Reilly of South Dennis, Massachusetts and the late William J. Reilly.

Cherry graduated with a master's degree in Mediation from Champlain College in Vermont and she received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Jacksonville University in Florida. She will be deeply missed and remembered for her for being a highly intelligent, perceptive and persuasive woman. She was always joyful and happy, and was fun to be around.

For many years, Cherry worked as a registered nurse. She worked in specialty areas including psychiatric, obstetric, medical surgical and case management nursing. Her last nursing role was as a quality and safety nurse specialist at Franciscan Children's Hospital in Brighton, Massachusetts. That turned out to be the job she loved most.

In her free time, Cherry enjoyed keeping her yard and tending to her lawn. She was a movie buff who loved watching Korean television. She also loved to travel on cruise ships and by plane to destinations like Florida, the Bahamas, Aruba, Italy, Greece and Israel. Above all, she loved her family most especially her daughter and her grandchildren.

In addition to her wife, Cheryl, and her mother, Florence, she is survived by her daughter Kimberly (Newton) Fournier of Nashua; her three grandchildren, Austin, Hunter, and Amanda Fournier; her four siblings, Donna Reilly Clifford and her husband Bud, and Michael, Stephen and Matthew Reilly as well as her former husband Ronald Newton and many nieces and nephews.

Cherry was predeceased by her father and her sister Kathleen Ferraro.

Relatives and friends are invited to Cherry's Funeral Service on SATURDAY, July 9th at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Guests are welcome to arrive between 11 AM and 11:30 AM with her Funeral Service to take place in the Funeral Home at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cherry's name to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 8th Avenue, 16th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
