Obituary

Claude Raymond, 75, died peacefully on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua. He is the beloved husband of Betty (Sejour) Raymond with whom he shared 42 years of marriage.

Claude was born in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti on August 4, 1949 and was the son of the late Bayard and Altagrace (Geffard) Raymond. He received his education in Haiti and later immigrated to the United States in 1975 with his family.

For many years, he was employed as a sales associate until his retirement.

In his free time, Claude enjoyed working and fixing cars, yardwork and maintaining his home, as well as routing for his favorite sports teams, the New England Patriots and the Boston Celtics. He liked to cook, especially for his family. However, Claude's most avid passion was music. From a young age, he learned to play the saxophone, was a member of bands including the part of maestro and was always listening to music every opportunity he had. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his family, especially his children and his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife/Love of his Life, Betty, he is survived by his three children, Becladaty Raymond Pouliot and Brian, Claude Raymond Jr., and Alexandra Raymond and Jasmine Raymond; his four grandchildren, Brianna, Brian Jr., Brayden, and Brooklyn Pouliot. He is also survived by his eight siblings, Esereth Raymond and family, Bernard Raymond and family, Roland Raymond and family, Max Raymond and family, Mary Raymond Lamy and family, Elsie Raymond and family, Mona Raymond Alexander and family, and Cassandra Raymond Vital and family; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to Claude's Funeral Mass on SATURDAY, October 26th at 10 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 216 E. Dunstable Road, Nashua.
