Conrad R.
Maynard
Aug 5, 1928 — Jan 9, 2022
Conrad R. Maynard, 93, died peacefully at Langdon Place in Nashua on Sunday, January 9, 2022. He was the beloved husband of the late Muriel (Caron) Maynard.
Conrad was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on August 5, 1928, and was the son of the late Ovila and Yvonne (Marquis) Maynard.
For many years, he was employed at Nashua Corp. and Sportwelt Shoe. Conrad later worked with his son managing Mike Maynard's Lawnmower Repair shop. He worked beside his son for 20 years until his retirement.
In his free time, Conrad was an avid hockey fan. He especially loved watching his son play organized hockey and enjoyed frequenting local hockey rinks to catch a game. Conrad affectionately became known as "Grampa" wherever he went. He was loved by all whose path he crossed and was always happy to lend a helping hand. But above all, his most cherished time was spent with his family.
Conrad is survived by his son, Michael Maynard and his fiancée Teresa Corbit of Nashua; his two granddaughters, Stephanie Lynn Maynard and Kimberly Ryan Maynard; and three great-grandchildren, Jacob, Mariah, and Jack.
In addition to his wife, Jeannine, Conrad was predeceased by his siblings, Ovila Maynard Jr., Jean Nadeau, Robert Maynard, and Paul Maynard.
