Obituary

Conrad R. Pelletier, 100, died peacefully on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Olivette (Rivard) Pelletier, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage prior to her passing on December 26, 2006.

Conrad was born in Nashua, New Hampshire, on February 3, 1926, and was the son of the late Louis P. and Lydia (Briand) Pelletier. He attended schools in the Nashua School System and was a graduate of Nashua High School. He continued his education, graduating with his bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Forces during World War II until he was honorably discharged in October of 1945.

For many years, he was employed as the personnel manager for Hampshire Manufacturing and Continental Homes until his retirement.

In his free time, Conrad had a passion for aviation and was an accomplished pilot, having flown numerous small aircraft over the years, with his favorite being the Grumman Yankee. He also enjoyed traveling alongside his late wife, Olivette, exploring various destinations and creating cherished memories together. Conrad enjoyed classical music and frequently attended the Nashua Symphony. He also loved dancing and participated in the RISE Program at Rivier College, which brought him opportunities for continued learning and engagement.

A man of strong faith, Conrad was a devout Catholic and faithful communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Nashua. He will be remembered for his incredible work ethic and determination, especially in owning and maintaining his rental properties, where he proudly served as his own handyman. Never one to shy away from a project, Conrad took great pride in his ability to fix just about anything.

He had a larger-than-life personality and a natural gift for making everyone he met feel like an instant friend. His outgoing nature, warm spirit, and genuine kindness left a lasting impression on those around him. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his family, whom he loved deeply. Conrad will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He is survived by his four children, David Pelletier and his fiancé Cheryl Brush of White River Junction, VT, Susan Hundermark of Summit, NJ, Michele Pfaff of Nashua, and Mark Pelletier and his wife Lisa of Ashburnham, MA; his two grandchildren, Brook Pfaff and Ashley Griffin and her husband Michael; as well as his two great-grandchildren, Conrad and Liv Griffin, and his nieces, Leigh Hardisty and Lynn Kuntemeier.

Sadly in addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his brother, Leonard Pelletier.

Relatives and friends are invited to Conrad’s Funeral Mass on THURSDAY, October 22nd at 10 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 216 E. Dunstable Road, Nashua. His interment and presentation of military honors will follow in the Old St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.
