Doris Laura Dupont, 87, died peacefully on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Langdon Place in Nashua. She is the beloved wife of Wilfred Leon Dupont with whom she shared 64 years of marriage.
Doris was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on October 24, 1935 and was the daughter of the late Albert and Lena (Levesque) Diggins. She received her education in the Nashua School System.
In her early years, she was employed as an assembly tech for Sprague Electric and worked in the cafeteria at Nashua High School for 10 years.
In her free time, she enjoyed knitting and crocheting and was a wonderful cook. She truly cherished her time spent with her family, especially babysitting her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Wilfred, she is survived by her two children, Michele Frey and her husband Gary of Nashua and Lisa Rondeau and her husband Mark of Dunbarton, NH; her five grandchildren, Sean and Christopher Frey and Hannah, Benjamin, and Sarah Rondeau. She is also survived by her four siblings, Gloria Savage, Patricia Rodgers and her husband Kenneth, Roland Diggins and his wife Bernice, and Roger Diggins and his wife Treva; her sisters-in-law, Ellen Diggins and Diane Boissonneau and her husband Norman; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Michael J. Dupont as well as her siblings, Albert Diggins and his wife Adrianne, Lucille Clark and her husband George, Robert Diggins and his wife Arlene, Richard Diggins, and Daniel Diggins; and her brother-in-law, Edward Savage.
Relatives and friends are invited to Doris' visitation on FRIDAY, October 13th from 8:30 AM until 9:30 AM in St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 777 W Hollis Street, Nashua. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 9:30 AM in the Church. Interment in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Doris' name to either the Alzheimer's Association, P. O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011 or to the American Legion, 11 Court Street, Nashua, NH 03060. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Rochette Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
