Edward A. "Big Ed" Augusta, 65, died unexpectedly at his home on Thursday morning, September 1, 2022.
Ed was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts on June 29, 1957 and was the son of the late Matthew and Rita (White) Augusta.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army until he was honorably discharged.
For many years, Ed owned and operated Ed's Ceramic Tile until his retirement due to his illness.
In his free time, Ed enjoyed playing cards, especially Poker and Blackjack and he was an avid New England Patriots fan. He enjoyed spending time with his friends at "The Bar" where he would enjoy playing Keno. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his loving family who will deeply miss him.
Ed is survived by his two children, Addison Augusta and Jason Augusta of Oklahoma, his longtime partner, Karen Burns of Hudson, his three step children, Dennis, Dyllin, and Donovan Higgins, and his grandchildren, Landon Augusta of Oklahoma, Timothy and Anthonie Higgins of Nashua. He is also survived by his two siblings, Helen Vacca and her husband James of Nashua and Bruce Augusta and his wife Susan of Chester, NH; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ed was predeceased by his brother Matthew B. Augusta of Methuen Ma.
Relatives and friends are invited to Ed's Graveside Service on MONDAY, September 12th at St Patrick's Cemetery, 102 Derry Road, Hudson, NH at 11AM with a Mercy meal after the service. In Lieu of Flowers - Donations may be made in Ed's name to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023
