It Is with a heavy heart to announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Geno (Eugene) C. Anctil Jr. 62, of Nashua NH, who passed away unexpectedly on June 3, 2023 at his home. He is the beloved husband of Dawna (Pelletier) Anctil with whom he shared 11 years together.

Geno was born June 10, 1960, to Barbara (Duguay) Anctil and the late Eugene C. Anctil Sr. Geno. He was born and raised in Nashua, NH and attended schools in the Nashua school system, and was a graduate of Nashua High School. He later became a coach for the Nashua High North Lacrosse Team.

Geno worked many different jobs as a maintenance worker. His most recent was working for BAE systems.

Geno had many enjoyments in life; he loved watching New England sports, especially the Patriots and the Bruins. He had a deep passion for fishing and golfing and almost every weekend, he and his wife Dawna loved to have a date night, where they would enjoy a Mai Tai cocktail at the Haluwa and then head over to the Lucky Moose Casino for a night of roulette and gambling.  Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his family, especially his grandchildren who he loved deeply.

Geno is survived by his wife Dawna Anctil and his mother Barbara Anctil.  He is also survived by his children from his first marriage, Eugene C. Anctil III and Joseph Anctil; his sister Catherine Connolly; his two stepdaughters Jessica Brooks and Sarah Gagnon; as well as grandchildren, Claire, Wesley, Kaysen, Noah and Avianna.

Relatives and friends are invited to Geno's visitation on SATURDAY, June 10th from 12 until 2:45 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. A brief prayer service will take place in the Funeral Home at 2:45PM at the conclusion of his visitation. His burial will take place at the convenience of his family.
