Francis Dewey Henry, 89, died peacefully on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH.

Francis was born on October 11, 1932 in Cleveland, Ohio. He was the beloved son of the late Noah Henry and Mabel Fugitt Henry.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army until he was honorably discharged in May of 1955.

For many years, he was employed in the Newspaper industry with The Plain Dealer and the Cleveland Press. He was Union President until his retirement.

In his free time, he was an avid sports fan. He loved to watch all sports and enjoyed golfing and bowling. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his beloved companion, Pauline Roberts of Nashua, NH and her three children, David Roberts and wife Dona, Ken Roberts and wife Christine and daughter, Jan Hammond.  He will be deeply missed by his long time friend, Joe Pelano and all who loved and knew him.

Francis was widowed by his wife Joyce Elaine Henry, the mother of his four surviving children; his son David Henry, and daughters;  Robin Simmons and her husband Mark, Tammy Bladek, Tricia Schneider and her husband Bryan.  Five grandchildren; Anthony Beasley, Patrick Beasley, Kent Bladek, Dylan Bladek, Rachael Rose and husband Aaron. Four great grandchildren; Anthony Beasley, Braxton Beasley, Amelia Rose, and Natalie Rose.

At the request of Francis' family, all services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Francis's name to the Community Hospice House, 7 Executive Park Drive, Merrimack, NH 03054.
