On October 11th, 1937, a baby was born that would one day be the daughter of a king.

Gladys Errington 84 of Nashua NH passed away on February 27th, 2022. She was the oldest child of William & Julia Chickering.

Gladys was the widow of John Errington who passed away in 2002. Her daughter Julie Narkunas

passed away in 2004. She is survived by her son and his wife, David Munnis and Melissa of Nashua, NH. Her son Daniel Munnis and his partner Kristine Bell of Merrimack, NH. Her son Timothy Errington and his partner Deborah Werthman of Merrimack, NH. Her son Frank Munnis Jr. of Nashua. She also leaves behind her most cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren. Todd Munnis and his wife Judy of Merrimack, NH with their children Michael and Margaret. Cassandra Richards and her husband Jeff of Bow, NH along with their children Cody, Devin, Caleb, and their angel baby Justin who passed away in 2009. Ryan Munnis and his wife Sarah of Manchester, NH. Sarah Pfannenstiel and her husband Austin of Manhattan Kansas. Jordan Errington and his son Montague of Northfield, NH. Jacob Errington of Merrimack, NH. Hannah Errington of Canterbury, NH. David Narkunas of Nashua, NH. Jessica Narkunas­ Ruvalcaba and her husband Ismael of El Paso, Texas. Kristy Narkunas of Seattle Washington along with her beautiful twin daughters Oak and Arrow of Bellingham, Washington.

Gladys is survived by her brother William Chickering Jr and his wife Becky of Swanzey, NH her sister Mabel Frazier and her husband Jim of Quarryville, Pennsylvania, her great aunt Agnes Gureckis of West Springfield MA as well as several nieces and nephews.

How do we describe Gladys? She was a hardworking, tough, Lithuanian woman. She was her own Rosie the Riveter. She was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and niece but most importantly as her grandchildren would say, she was a friend.

Her grandchildren describe her best. Grammy was the epitome of family. She was a hero and friend. Despite having severe arthritis, suffering a heart attack and stroke along with the loss of her daughter, she always stayed focused on her family. She was positive, optimistic, a teacher and a light to everyone. She was one of the most selfless people we've ever known. She set the bar insanely high with the amount of love she has shown every one of us.

But of all the things we could say about Gladys, she would want to be remembered for one single reason. She was a disciple of Jesus Christ. She shared her faith with anyone that would listen and even those that didn't. She was a proud member of the Freedom Point Church. She was a spiritual compass for many. She loved her spiritual family and would admonish them to keep the faith and take heart that she will meet them again.

So, we say so long for now and celebrate a life well lived.

Relatives and friends are invited to Gladys' visitation on FRIDAY, March 4th from 10 AM until 11:30 AM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home at 11:30 AM followed by her interment in Edgewood Cemetery, Nashua.
