It is with great sadness that we announce Mr. James (Jim) Begley, age 74, passed away on February 16th in Nashua NH. He was the beloved husband of Linda (D'Elia) Begley, with whom he shared 54 years of marriage.

Born and raised in Lawrence MA, He was the son of John and Irene (Proulx) Begley. After graduating from Lawrence High School, he joined the US Navy where he proudly served his country aboard the USS El Paso. After leaving the US Navy, he went to work for WR Grace, as a cross-country truck driver for over 25 years.

Jim was a longtime resident of Litchfield NH. He enjoyed his garage, his trucks, his Jeep, and his 1968 Corvair. A lifelong lover of music, he knew the words to every oldies song which he often sang to with his wife. He was a quiet family man with a great sense of humor which never left him.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his two children Erin and her husband Kenny MacLeod of Merrimack NH and Tim and his wife Chrissy Begley of Elizabth Bay Australia.

Friends and family are invited to James' visitation on MONDAY, February 24th from 4 until 6 pm at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Interment will take place at the family's convenience in in the spring at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Hudson.
