Obituary

Jane L. Rioux, 72, died peacefully at Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth, NH on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Thomas Rioux with whom she shared 52 years of marriage.

Jane was born in Nashua on November 29, 1949 and was the daughter of the late Ernest and Cecile (Lamothe) Forcier. She attended and graduated from Holy Ghost College with her LPN with the class of 1968.

For many years, she was employed as a LPN for St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua and was later employed at Greenbriar Nursing Home until her retirement.

In her free time, she enjoyed camping and taking trips in her motorhome. She also loved to knit and make many pieces of clothing for her family. Knitted treasures were her love language. Jane was an avid animal lover but had a special place in her heart for dogs, especially the pets she had over the years. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Thomas, she is survived by her three children, Lynn Chouinard of Milford, Brian Rioux and his wife Erin on Milford, and Karen Robbins and her husband Mike of Nashua; her 11 grandchildren, Andre Rioux, Brianna Fennell and her husband Bobby, David Sousa, Mikayla Robbins and her fiancé Brandon Ciccone, Alex Chouinard, Austin Chouinard, Kaitlyn Robbins, Ashleigh Robbins, Bailey Labednick, Nathan Rioux, and Spencer Rioux. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Phoneix Demmons and Carson Fennell; her brother Ron Forcier and his wife Gail of Hudson; her aunt Lawrence Pappademas of Hampton, and her dear friend and "sister" Cheryl Berman of Rye, and many nieces and nephews.
