Obituary

Joe Ricard, 55, died unexpectedly at his home on Friday, March 10, 2023.

Joe was born in Nashua, New Hampshire and is the beloved son of Amedee "Meddy" and Linda (Nevens) Ricard. He attended school in Merrimack School System and was a graduate of Calvary Christian School

For many years he worked as a sheet rocker and a taper in the construction industry.

Joe was a quiet and gentle Christian man who loved his Lord. He would help anyone that needed him. He was always ready to help anyone in the apartment complex he lived with whatever they needed. In his free time, Joe truly loved to spend time outdoors, fishing, canoeing, bird watching, cooking especially smoking meats, hiking, and family camping thru the years. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his family who he loved deeply.

He is survived by his parents, his siblings, Jeffrey Ricard, Dennis Ricard and Robyn McDermott and her husband Jim; his aunts and uncles, Paul Ricard and his wife Linda, Pauline Tourigny, and Bob and Lorraine Pelletier; as well as his closest friend Gretchen Hauser as well as Jimmy, who was like a son to him. He is also survived by niece Ashley and her husband Adam, nephews James, Cody, Samuel, and Joshua McDermott, his "niece" Lilly and numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
