John Albert Lanoie, 90, died peacefully at his home on Friday, January 28, 2022. He is the beloved significant other of Jane Jones.
John was born in Nashua on October 31, 1931, and was the son of the late Charlemagne and Anna (Henry) Lanoie. He received his education in the Nashua School System and graduated from Nashua High School.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War until he was honorably discharged.
John began his career working at car dealerships when he was just a teenager at Soucy Motors. Later, he was employed and co-owned Ford Lincoln Mercury for over 50 years. John loved to sell his cars. Customers would come from all over to buy from him.
He was extremely proud of his French-Canadian heritage and loved his Montreal Canadians. His most cherished time was spent with his family.
In addition to his loving significant other, Jane, he is survived by his four daughters, Leslie King and her husband Mike of Sarasota, FL, Holly Tamposi of Sarasota, FL, Cynthia Tamposi of Hudson and Maria Demetri and her husband Gregory of North Reading, MA. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Michael Tamposi, Jr., Matthew Tamposi, Ashley Tamposi, Doug Tamposi, Jennifer Tamposi, Gregory Demetri, Jr., Alexis Demetri and several great-grandchildren as well as his sister, Vivian Gorman of Nashua.
John was predeceased by his former wife, Martha Lanoie.
Relatives and friends are invited to John's Funeral Mass on WEDNESDAY, February 16th at 10 AM in St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 777 W Hollis Street, Nashua. KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will follow in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua. Arrangements under the care of ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua.
