John J. Lavoie, 55, died unexpectedly in his sleep due to a brief illness at his home on Tuesday, December 20, 2022.

John was born in Nashua, NH on September 17, 1967 and was the son of the late Lionel I. Sr. and Elaine T. (Thebodeau) Lavoie. He received his education in the Nashua School System and was a graduate of Nashua High School with the class of 1985.

For many years he was employed as a machinist as well as in the shipping department at Bronze Craft.

In his free time John hand built dollhouses and models including planes, boats and such. He was truly proud of the nativity scenes he also built. He enjoyed his solitude and time spent with his dog.

John is survived by his two sisters, Marianne Artz and her husband Lawrence of Nashua and Dawn Lamothe and her husband Marcel of Raymond; his brother Lionel I. Lavoie Jr. of Brookline; his sweet dog, Lily as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephew, aunts and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to John's Funeral Mass on SATURDAY, December 31st at 10 AM in St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 777 W Hollis Street, Nashua. KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH. His interment will take place in the spring in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.
