John E. Sparks, 71, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at his home. He was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on March 25, 1952, to the late Hebert Sparks and Edna Bernice (Wright) Sparks-Chase. John attended schools in the Cambridge school district and attended Cambridge Latin High School. Following his graduation from high school, he joined the U.S Coast Guard and proudly served during the Vietnam War. Later, he worked for BAE as a laborer compliance. John is survived by his two sons, Jared Sparks and Jeremy Sparks; his two sisters, Virginia A. Cruz and her husband Edward, and Terri Bilotta and her husband Richard; and his grandchild Breann Sparks. In addition, she is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by his brother Melvin Sparks. Relatives and friends are invited to John's visitation on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 2024 from 5PM until 7PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Interment will take place at the convenience of his family.
