Jonathan M.
Whitney
Sep 20, 1993 — Nov 17, 2022
Jonathan M. Whitney, 29, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH surrounded by his loving family.
Jonathan was born in Nashua on September 20, 1993 and was the son of Alan M. Whitney and the late Patricia L. (Forte) Whitney. He was on the Football and Wrestling Teams and a graduate of Nashua North High School. He was employed as a school bus driver for Nashua by First Student.
In his free time, Jonathan enjoyed video games and many tabletop games including Dungeons and Dragons, Warhammer 40K, and Digimon Trading Cards. Jonathan had a beautiful mind that combined his artistic abilities with his constant desire to learn. This was most evident in the models he built for games and in his pursuit of 3D printing. He even established his own 3D printing business, 603D Printing Company.
Jonathan also loved keeping up on current technology, educating himself on historical facts, studying various cultures, and learning interesting "tid-bits". His biggest dream was to someday travel to Japan with his best friend Garrett, to experience Japanese culture, cuisines, architecture, and language firsthand.
Throughout his time spent gaming, he made numerous friends, both locally and all over the country. Most recently, he purchased a bus to convert into a camper/traveling home so he could explore new places and visit those friends across the country. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his family, who loves him deeply and will miss him dearly.
Jonathan is survived by his father, Alan Whitney of Nashua, his four siblings, Chris Weier and his fiancé Leila Alamo of Weare, NH, Amanda Fournier and her husband Brendan of Goffstown, NH, Jason Weier and his wife Jaclyn of Londonderry, NH, and Gregory Whitney and his significant other, Roanne Bafageeh of Manchester, NH. He is also survived by his 12 nieces and nephews, Adler, Noelle, Torrence, Dwayne, Alexia, Harper, Caleb, Briea, Kennedy, Kyleigh, Brooke, and Beckett. He is also survived by his paternal grandfather, David Whitney of Hillsborough, NH and his maternal grandparents, Elizabeth (Relf) and Frederick Forte, of Wellesley, MA and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his mother, Patricia L. Whitney, and his maternal grandmother Patricia A. Whitney.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to help fulfill Jonathan's dream of traveling to Japan, where his family will spread his ashes.
