Joseph "Joe" Edward Pitkin, 43, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, January 14, 2023. He is the beloved husband of Cathryn "Katie" (Ives) Pitkin with whom he shares 16 years of marriage.

Joe was born in Boston, Massachusetts on March 19, 1980, and is the loving son of Richard and Nancy (Dunphy) Pitkin of Lowell. He received his education in the Lowell School System and was a graduate of Lowell High School. He continued his education at Fitchburg State University graduating with his bachelor's degree.

For many years he worked in marketing for various companies.

In his free time, Joe was very active and had a passion for cycling. He completed triathlons as well as charity bike rides to support the research of muscular dystrophy. He loved the outdoors, especially smoking meat and laying in his hammock. Joe was very talented and able to work with his hands, completing home improvement jobs around his home to working on cars. Above all his most cherished time was spent with his family, but the light of his life is his daughter, Charlotte.

In addition to his wife, Katie, and his parents, Richard and Nancy; he is survived by his daughter, Charlotte Pitkin; his two brothers, David Pitkin and his wife Kristin Barr of Groton, MA and Robert Pitkin and his wife Erin of Littleton, MA; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to Joe's visitation on SATURDAY, January 20th from 10 AM until 12 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Interment will take place at the convenience of his family.
