Kathleen A. "Kathy" Byron, 72, died peacefully on Friday, July 15, 2022, at Southern New Hampshire Medical Hospital. She is the beloved wife of Daniel J. Byron with whom she shared 50 years of marriage.
Kathy was born in Brookline, Massachusetts on January 29, 1950, and is the daughter of the late John J. Jr. and Esther C. (Boutwell) Casey. She attended schools in the Somerville School System and graduated from Somerville High School with the class of 1969.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as an aide in the Killeen, Texas School System.
Kathy's family was her absolute passion in life. She was the glue that held the family together. She loved her chihuahua, Brady, and enjoyed doing puzzles and watching her soap operas. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her family.
In addition to her husband, Daniel, he is survived by her three children, Daniel A. Byron and his wife Gloria of Bluffton, SC, Lisa Marshall and her husband Bryce of Lincolnton, NC and Christine Forte of Hudson, NH; her six grandchildren, Madelyn Smith, Cody Byron, Destiny Forte, Ashley Forte, Hayley Forte, and Logan Marshall and her three great-grandchildren, Adeline, Waylon and Eliza Smith. She is also survived by her six siblings, John "Buster" Casey of Waltham, MA, William Casey of Medford, MA, Karen McNeil of Somerville, MA, Lori Milligan of Arlington, MA, Catherine Colantuoni of Saugus, MA, and Kimberly Cortez of Newport, RI; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Kathy's visitation on MONDAY, July 18th from 4 until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her Funeral Mass will be held on TUESDAY, July 19th at 10 AM in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 W Hollis Street, Nashua. Cremation will follow.
