Laurence Kenneth Plutnicki, 77, died peacefully Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Nashua Crossing surrounded by his loving family. He is the beloved husband of Sharon (Lavorgna) Plutnicki with whom he shared 55 year of marriage.
Laurence was born in Danvers, Massachusetts, on September 11, 1946 and was the son of the late Anthony and Beatrice (Belanger) Plutnicki. He attended schools in the Danvers School System and was a graduate of Danvers High School. He continued his education at Northeastern University and graduated with his bachelor's degree in business administration.
For over 20 years, he was employed as a compensation manager for Digital.
In his free time, Laurence enjoyed boating, especially on Lake Sunapee as well as golfing. He loved all music, Riverdance was his preference, and he also was a movie and TV buff. JAWS was his all-time favorite movie, and he would quote it often. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family, including his children, grandchildren, and dogs. He will be deeply missed.
In addition to his wife, Sharon, he is survived by his two children, James Plutnicki and his wife Stephanie of Pelham and Jill Douglas and her husband Stephen of Concord, CA; his two grandchildren, Alex and Matthew Plutnicki; as well as his nieces and nephews, Laurie Ann Haernick, Kathy May, and Michael Plutnicki.
In addition to his parents, Laurence was predeceased by his brother, Richard Plutnicki.
Relatives and friends are invited to Laurence's visitation on SUNDAY, June 11th from 10 AM until 12 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Interment will take place at the convenience of his family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Laurence's name to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168 and submitting their donation form from their website.
