Lucy J. Hne, 73, died unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, August 16, 2023.

She was born in Monrovia, Liberia on March 2, 1950 and was the daughter of the late John and Maria (T) Nyanplu. She received her education in the Monrovia School System and was a graduate of Ricks Institute High School.

For many years, she was employed in the packaging department at Henry Hanger formerly of Nashua. Prior to moving to the United States, Lucy was employed by the Ministry of Planning in Libera.

In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, maintaining her home, and was a talented seamstress. She truly loved to dance, if you ever visited her she was constantly dancing. She was a friendly and funny person and loved to make anyone laugh. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her five children, Jacqueline B. Andrews, Roland Andrews, Sebo Jude, Ramonita B. Johnson, and Gloria L. Johnson; her 10 grandchildren, Alvin Nyenapee, Christiana K. Birch, Mary Ann Andrews, Alfred Andrews, Levi Sorsor, Facia Kemayah, Lloyd M. Andrews, Cliffina Johnson, Angel Johnson, Cyrus Johnson, Ramone Johnson, Chessman Johnson, and Serenity Johnson; as well as her four great-grandchildren, Ephariam D. Nyenapee, Cyril P. Torkpa, Ahead P. Torkpa, and Alfreda Andrews. She is also survived by her siblings, Br. Francis N. Sebo, Cecelia Wesseh, and Elizabeth Wesseh; and her nieces, Josephine Wisseh and Stacey Sleweon and her nephew Terrance Sleweon.

She was predeceased by her six sisters and eight brothers.

Relatives and friends are invited to Lucy's Funeral Service on TUESDAY, September 5th at 11 AM in ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERIVCES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Please gather at 10:30 AM. Following her Funeral Service her interment will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery, Nashua.
