Obituary

Lynda Ann Tucker, 81, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2026, at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, New Hampshire. Lynda was born on May 4, 1945, in Windsor, Vermont, to Clarence and Eleanor (Hicks) Prevo.

She grew up in Windsor and graduated from Windsor High School in 1963. She attended North Hampton Junior College.

She spent her childhood summers at Lake Sunapee, a place and a lake she loved with her brothers, James and David, and continued sharing this special place with her children and grandchildren.

For more than 40 years, Lynda was the office manager at Francoeur Brothers in Hudson. She was the steady, familiar presence that kept the place running, and over four decades the people there became a second family to her.

Lynda was happiest with people around her. She loved a full house on the holidays, a good game with family and friends, and spending time with best friend Shirley Reynolds. In recent years, she spent time with her friends at the Alpine Club in Manchester. She was an avid reader who could always appreciate an enjoyable book, loved to cook, and watch the birds around her. She took immense pride in her home and was happy to host people there whenever she could.

One of her last parties and social gatherings was for her 80th Birthday. Surrounded by family of 4 generations, there were games and many laughs. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren referred to her as “Nana Lynda”, and all enjoyed her sense of humor and youthful approach to life.

She is predeceased by her parents and brother David Prevo. She is survived by her longtime love, Terrance “Terry” Radke; her children, Lori Howe and her husband Michael of Nashua, Greg Tucker and his wife Corinna of Hampton, and Jeffrey Tucker and his wife Christina of Hudson; her grandchildren, Michael Champagne and his wife Kylee, Caitlyn Adkins and her husband Christopher, Scott Champagne and his wife Jayme, Devin Champagne and his fiancée Tawnie, Eleana “Ella” Champagne, Colin Tucker, Calla Tucker, Camden Tucker, Cote Clough and Ember Clough; her great-grandchildren, Phoenix, Scarlett, Bridgette, Michael, Liam, Stevie and Sawyer; her brother, James Prevo and his wife Dianne of Sunapee; her sister-in-law, Kathy Prevo of Windsor, Vermont; and several nieces and nephews.

At Lynda’s request, there are no formal services at this time. The family will gather privately for a burial at Edgewood Cemetery in Nashua. There will be a celebration of her life in the future as well. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Rochette Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua.
