Lynn J. (Carbonneau) Filion, 63, died unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, March 31, 2022. She is the beloved wife of Daniel R. Filion with whom they shared 6 beautiful years of marriage.

Lynn was born in Quebec, Canada on February 10, 1959 and is the daughter of Jeanne (Bergeron) Carbonneau of Nashua and the late Joseph Carbonneau. She was a graduate of St. Louis de Gonzague High School. For 32 years, she was employed by the United States Postal Service as a postal carrier until her retirement.

In her free time, she was an avid reader and could read a book in a day especially next to her beloved wood stove. She loved any time spent on beach vacations, especially her yearly family trip to Hampton Beach. Lynn had a wonderful sense of humor and a great love for animals, she cherished her own fur baby, Angel, and all her grand fur babies who knew her fondly as the treat lady. In her younger years, she was a talented accordion player and even taught lessons at Rosita Lee Music School in Hudson. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her family, notably time with her grandchildren, who were the light of her world.

Lynn's family and friends meant the world to her. She embodied the meaning of a true friend to anyone that knew her. If you were ever in need, Lynn stood ready to help in any way possible. Hot meals, a place to stay, or simply a sympathetic ear paired with some no nonsense advice. No matter what the circumstances, she would do anything in her power to selflessly help her loved ones. She will be forever missed.

In addition to her husband, Daniel and her mother, Jeanne, she is survived by her two children, Shayna Howe and her husband Andy of Deerfield, NH and Bruno Routhier and his partner Alysha Brennan of Litchfield; her two step children, Holly Herrick and her husband Patrick of Boston and Edward Jones of Plymouth, NH; her six grandchildren, Cortney Kelly and her husband Hugh, Charlotte Routhier, Adalyn Howe, Ayla Routhier, Olivia Routhier, and Wesley Howe. She is also survived by her sister, Edna Gundersen and her husband Jon of Nashua; and several nieces and nephews.

Lynn was predeceased by her two brothers, Michel and Alain Carbonneau.

Relatives and friends are invited to Lynn's visitation on THURSDAY, April 7th from 5 until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her Funeral Mass will be held on FRIDAY, April 8th at 10 AM in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 W. Hollis Street, Nashua.
