Madeleine J. (Charron) Martin, 89, of Nashua passed away on December 8, 2022 surrounded by her family.

Madeleine was born in Nashua, NH on June 16, 1933, a daughter of Ernest Charron and Eva (Godbout) Charron.  She was the wife of George Martin who passed away October 9, 2013 after 50 years of marriage.

Madeleine graduated from St. Louis High class of '51 and was a communicant of St. Louis de Gonzague church.  She was employed as a secretary for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for 19 years, retiring in 1970 to be a stay-at-home mom.  She also managed her husband's construction company and apartments.  In her spare time she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and Sudoku and working on the computer.  She also enjoyed cruises and vacationing in Canada with her husband.

Besides her parents and her husband George, Madeleine was predeceased by a sister, Marcelle, who died at age 10, a sister, Yolande, and a brother, Rolland, who both died as infants, and a brother, Paul who passed away March 16, 2014.

Madeleine is survived by one daughter, Michelle Marcoux, and her husband Thomas, Sr. of Nashua, one son, Paul Martin and his wife Elizabeth also of Nashua, six grandchildren, Jonathan Marcoux, Michael Goudreault, Justin Marcoux, Tiffani Marcoux, Timothy Martin, Christopher Martin, three step-grandchildren, Andrew Reisman, Krysta Marcoux, Thomas Marcoux, Jr. and two step-great grandsons and two step-great granddaughters.

She is also survived by her sister-in-law and friend, Joanne Charron.

Relatives and friends are invited to Madeleine's visitation on WEDNESDAY, December 14th from 8:30 until 9:30 AM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her Funeral Mass will take place at 10 AM in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, Nashua. Interment will follow in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.
