Mary Ellen Gould, 59, of Nashua, NH unexpectedly passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023. She was born on February 10, 1964, in Bridgeport, CT. Mary Ellen was married to the love of her life, Michael, in 1998.

She was a graduate of Nashua High School. After working as an EMT for Rockingham ambulance, she pursued her desire to help others by becoming a nurse, receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Rivier University. In the late eighties to mid-nineties, Mary Ellen could be found doing a number of charity bike rides. She began her career working in the emergency room and thrived in the fast-paced environment, supporting others during their most challenging times. She continued her career in outpatient oncology where she served her patients with dignity, respect, and compassion. After her recovery from cancer, she was the school Nurse at Fairgrounds Elementary. Where she gave the children her upmost attention and top-notch care. They loved her prize box which always had fun and thoughtful items to pick from. Bonus were the tooth fairy treasure chests.

Mary Ellen was a consummate party planner who opened her home for annual Easter, Halloween, birthday, and end of school year parties. She loved being an Auntie to her nieces and nephews and a Mimi to her grandchildren. She always made room in her luggage to the UK for crafts with Mimi. Mama Gould took pride in being a class mom while her children attended Infant Jesus School. She was a dedicated hockey team mom who could be heard cheering at all events. She was so proud of Nicholas, Ashley and Matt in their achievements and becoming successful adults. Mary Ellen had an infectious laugh and smile that made you happy to be with her. She will be missed more than words can convey.

She is survived by her husband, Michael, their son, Nicholas; stepdaughter, Ashley (Gould) Nelson and husband, Eric, and their children, Easton and Olivia of England; stepson, Matthew Gould and his wife, Brianna of Merrimack, NH; Mother, Lois (Schneider) Harris of Hudson, NH; Father, Richard Harris and wife Donna of Spotsylvania, VA; Sister, Lynn (Harris) Quigley and husband Kevin of Litchfield, NH; sister, Julie (Harris) Smith and husband Jon of Hudson, NH. Sister, Kathy (Harris) York and husband Robb of Penacook, NH; Father-in-law, Leo Gould, of Nashua; Mother-in-law, Judy (Coderre) and husband Richard of Nashua, NH; brother-in-law, Brian Gould and wife Jodi of Nashua, NH as well as many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Preceding her in death are her grandparents, Joseph and Viola, grandparents, Richard and Gatha, grandparents, Leo and Annette, her great Aunt Mary, Aunt Reggie, Aunt Jini, Uncle Lew; her stepmother, Joy; and her close friend, Laurie Zibolis.

Relatives and friends are invited to Mary Ellen's visitation on TUESDAY, April 11th from 4 PM until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. Her Funeral Mass will be held WEDNESDAY, April 12th 10 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 216 E. Dunstable Road, Nashua. Her interment will follow in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.
