Norman S. Desclos, 86, passed away peacefully on October 6 at Derry Rehab and Nursing Center. He was born on February 6, 1940, in Nashua, son of the late Norman and Jeanne (Berube) Desclos.

Norman was the beloved husband of Jeanne (LaTour) Desclos, with whom he shared 60 years of marriage before her passing in October 2020.

Norman worked for many years as a flooring installer for the Carpet Center in Nashua before his retirement. A hardworking and devoted provider, he took great pride in caring for his family and his home. He was a man who appreciated keeping things neat and tidy and enjoyed taking care of his yard.

An avid baseball fan, Norman especially loved the Boston Red Sox and enjoyed following the team throughout the years. His dedication to his family, strong work ethic, and simple enjoyment of home and family life will be remembered and cherished by those who knew and loved him.

Norman will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends.

He is survived by daughters Lisa Shaeffer, Susan Mann and her husband John, and Diane Desclos; as well as four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Jeanne, Norman was predeceased by his siblings Jeanne Perkins, Arthur Desclos and Jacquelyn Therrien.

All services will be held privately. Norman will be interred at Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashua.
