Norman "Norm" P. Lavoie, 83, passed away peacefully on the morning of December 28, 2021, with his loving wife of 40 years by his side.

Norm waged a courageous battle for several years against a multitude of illnesses.

Norm was born in Nashua on October 6, 1938, and was a son of the late Paul and Eva (Pederzanni) Lavoie.  He was a 1956 graduate of Nashua High School.  After high school, Norm enlisted in the Navy and served his country from 1956 to 1959.  Following his service, Norm embarked on a successful 40-year career as a Program Finance Administrator with Sanders Associates (BAE Systems).

After retiring in 1999, Norm so looked forward to spending his winters in Port Charlotte, Florida.  He was an avid golfer, both as a player and a fan.  He was a proud member of the "Hole-in-One" Club.  He enjoyed countless cruises to wonderful destinations.  Norm was always happy at the beach, whether it be Hampton Beach in the summer or any number of beaches in Southwest Florida in the winter months.  He followed the Patriots and especially enjoyed watching his favorite player, Gronk.  Norm was a loyal member of the Nashua Lodge of Elks #720 for over 58 years.

Immediately after meeting Norm, his kindness and unassuming demeanor made him an instant and lifelong friend to so many lucky people.  Many lives were made better because Norm was there.  He was truly a GIFT to all who knew him.

Norm leaves behind the love of his life and wife of 40 years, Florence (Lemay) Lavoie, two sons; Mark Lavoie of Sacramento, CA and Brian Lefebvre and his wife Susan of Nashua, one grandson; Kyle Lefebvre of Portland, ME who so adored his wonderful "Bumpy", a sister-in-law; Millie Lavoie of Salem, NH as well as several nieces and nephews.  Norm was predeceased by two brothers, Dick Lavoie, and Louis Lavoie.

SERVICES—A private family celebration along with burial and military honors will take place at the convenience of the family.  The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
