Obituary

Norman Alan Miller, 72, died peacefully on Monday, August 10, 2026 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua.

Norman was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on May 30, 1954, and was the son of the late Edward James Miller and Gloria O. (Morin) Cote. He received his education in the Nashua School System and attended Nashua High School.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army as a Spec 4 Tanker Gunner until he was honorably discharged in November of 1975.

For many years he worked as a hot top paver in the construction business, working for Middlesex Corporation.

Norman will be remembered for his kind, giving, and generous soul and for the love he so freely shared with those around him. He had a love for cars, fishing, and sports, with a special love for football. Norman was a proud member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 4. He was an avid dog lover. Norman was a wonderful uncle to his many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in his life. His family will especially remember the love, devotion, and care he showed his mother, whom he faithfully cared for in the years prior to his passing. Above all, Norman treasured his family, and the many times spent together, the laughter shared, and the memories made will be remembered fondly by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his brother, Dennis Miller of Meredith his sister, Donna (Miller) Graves of Kentucky; his step-brother Craig Trippleton of Nashua; several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.

Sadly, in addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Marilyn, Eddie, Patricia, and David.

Relatives and friends are invited to Norman’s graveside service on THURSDAY August 20th at 3 PM at the New Hampshire State Veteran Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen. Please arrive by 2:30 PM for his service. Military honors will be presented. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Norman’s name to Operation Delta Dog, https://operationdeltadog.org/
